PART 5: Unraveling the Empire
Corporate audits dismantle fraudulent developers.
Marcus stood frozen in the doorway, his hands trembling as my five brothers filled the grand foyer, completely surrounding him with an overwhelming aura of authority and raw power.
"You... you can't just trespass!" Marcus blustered, trying desperately to project an air of dominance he clearly no longer possessed. "I’ll call the police! This is my house!"
Leo stepped forward, pulling a thick leather portfolio from his breast pocket and flipping it open under the foyer lights.
"You won't be calling anyone, Marcus," Leo said smoothly, his tone clinical and detached. "In fact, your phone has probably already been locked out by your carriers."
Leo held up a series of financial documents.
"As of 9:15 PM tonight, my banking audit team secured a federal emergency injunction freezing all commercial accounts associated with Marcus Vance Developments," Leo continued. "Your primary lender called in your collateral loans thirty minutes ago. Your business is insolvent, your commercial properties are in foreclosure, and your personal assets are currently under court-ordered seizure."
Marcus staggered back against the wall, his eyes bulging in absolute horror.
"No... that's impossible," Marcus choked out, his chest heaving. "I have millions in liquidity! My firm is building the West End plaza!"
"Your firm was building on borrowed time and fake balance sheets," Julian chimed in, adjusting his cuffs with clinical precision. "We audited your shell companies last week just in case you ever crossed a line with our sister. It took my team exactly four hours to trace your embezzlement directly to your offshore accounts."
From the living room doorway, Chloe peeked out, wearing her silk robe, her face twisted in sudden, frantic panic.
"Marcus! What are they talking about?!" Chloe shrieked, running over to grab his arm. "Tell them to get out! Call your lawyers!"

Mateo, my youngest brother, stepped forward, his massive frame towering over Chloe as he stared down at her with icy contempt.
"Lawyers won't help you either, sweetheart," Mateo said softly. "Especially not when they review the security footage of you vandalizing your own ten-thousand-dollar designer dress to frame an eight-year-old child."
