Mason never stopped believing his mother would keep her promise.
Donations poured in.
A local builder donated a small home.
A childcare center offered Rosie free enrollment.
Sarah received a permanent job at the very hospital where doctors had saved her life.

She visited for dinner.
One rainy evening nearly a year later...
Sarah drove past the old bus stop with Mason in the back seat.
He quietly looked out the window.

Sarah pulled the car over.
