PART 3: The Little Girl They Tried to Throw Away

Every eye turned toward Emily.
The frightened little girl hid behind her grandfather.
The doctor knelt beside her.
"Emily..."
"Do you know your blood type?"
William answered quietly.
"AB negative."
The hallway erupted.
One nurse gasped.
"That's impossible..."
The doctor looked at the director.
"The governor's grandson is AB negative."
"The rarest blood type."
"We've spent twelve hours searching."
The director stared at Emily.
Moments earlier...
She had been "a poor child who couldn't pay."
Now...
She might be the only person in the hospital capable of saving another child's life.
William held Emily closer.
"My granddaughter is weak."
"She needs treatment herself."
The doctor nodded.
"I know."
"I'm not asking for blood."
"I'm asking for time."
Within minutes...
The governor's family arrived.
Expensive suits.
Private security.
Television cameras.
The governor's wife dropped to her knees before William.
"Please..."
"If there's any chance..."
William interrupted softly.
"My granddaughter comes first."
The doctor looked directly at the hospital director.
"You demanded money before treating her."
"Will you do the same to the governor's family?"
The director's face turned red.
No answer came.
Because everyone already knew the truth.
Money had determined who deserved compassion.
Not medicine.
Not humanity.
At that moment...
The hospital's chief hematologist rushed down the hallway carrying new test results.
He looked at Emily.
Then at William.
His face changed completely.
"We've made a mistake."
"This child..."
"...isn't just compatible."
"She's the only perfect genetic match we've found."
The hallway fell silent once again.
But before anyone could celebrate...
William slowly shook his head.
"I won't let anyone touch her..."
May you like
"...until someone finally saves my granddaughter first."
