The mother-in-law forced her pregnant wife to wash her feet, completely unaware that her son was furious!

Cruel mother-in-law forces pregnant wife to wash her feet, unaware of her son's fury!

Inside the grand mansion, the cruel mother-in-law slapped her heavily pregnant daughter-in-law, forcing her to wash her feet on the cold floor.

"Wash my feet properly, you useless girl!"

Suddenly, the husband burst through the doors. Seeing his pregnant wife crying on her knees, he lunged forward and struck his mother across the face in sheer rage.

Point-blank, he roared: "What are you doing to my wife?! If anything happens to her or my baby, you are dead to me!"

Dropping to his knees, he gently wrapped his arms around his sobbing wife, kissing her head: "I'm so sorry... Daddy's here now, you're safe."

Part 2

The hidden truth exposed!

The echoes of the slap vibrated through the grand marble foyer of the Sterling estate.

Victoria Sterling stood frozen, clutching her reddened cheek, her eyes wide with shock and indignation. Never in her sixty years had anyone raised a hand against her—least of all her own son.

"Ethan!" Victoria gasped, her voice trembling with indignation as she pointed a manicured finger at him. "You hit your own mother? Over this... this useless, penniless nobody?"

Ethan didn't even look up at her. He remained on his knees on the cold floor, his arms wrapped protectively around his pregnant wife, Clara. Clara’s frail body shook with uncontrollable sobs, her hands clutching her round, seven-month belly where the cold water from the overturned basin had soaked through her dress.

"I said, don't touch her," Ethan said, his voice dropping into a deadly, quiet register that made even the domestic staff standing in the hallways shiver. He gently brushed Clara’s tear-stained hair behind her ear, whispering softly, "Shh... I'm here, sweetheart. I'm right here. Nobody is ever going to hurt you again."

"Ethan, look at what she's done!" Victoria demanded, stepping around the puddle of water on the marble floor. "She’s been living under my roof for six months, eating my food, spending your money! The least she can do while you're out running the family corporation is show some respect and serve the head of this household!"

Ethan slowly stood up. At six-foot-two in his tailored gray suit, his presence completely dominated the room. His eyes, usually warm and composed, were burning with raw, terrifying fury.

"My money?" Ethan took a deliberate step toward his mother, forcing her to take an involuntary step back. "You think this mansion, this life, and my company were funded by your family's name?"

Victoria adjusted her silk robe, trying to maintain her aristocratic composure. "The Sterling legacy built this town, Ethan! Your father—"

"My father left us three million dollars in gambling debts and a warrant for asset seizure!" Ethan interrupted, his voice booming through the high ceilings. "Six months ago, when Vance Enterprise was on the brink of absolute liquidation, where do you think the twenty-million-dollar anonymous capital injection came from?"

Victoria blinked, caught off guard. "It was an international venture capital firm from London!"

Ethan let out a bitter, cold laugh. He reached into his leather briefcase, pulled out a confidential financial dossier, and threw it onto the glass coffee table between them.

"Read it, Mother," Ethan commanded coldly.

Victoria hesitantly picked up the leather folder. As her eyes scanned the official bank seals and ownership certificates, the color drained completely from her face. Her hands began to shake uncontrollably.

"The London Trust... is owned entirely by Clara Vance," Victoria whispered, her voice barely audible. "No... no, this is impossible. She was a orphan working as a junior archivist when you met her!"

"She was an archivist because she wanted a quiet life away from the cutthroat corporate world," Ethan revealed, stepping back to gently help Clara rise to her feet. "Clara is the sole surviving heir to the Vance Maritime Empire—the largest shipping conglomerate on the East Coast. Her grandfather left her a private trust worth over three hundred million dollars."

Victoria looked at Clara in absolute horror. The young woman she had treated like a glorified housemaid—the woman she had forced to scrub floors, wash dishes, and kneel to wash her feet—was sitting on a fortune ten times larger than the entire Sterling estate.

"Clara..." Victoria stammered, her arrogant facade crumbling into sheer panic. "Clara, my dear... why didn't you tell me? It was all just a misunderstanding! I was just trying to teach you proper family values—"

"Family values?" Clara spoke for the first time, her voice soft but laced with absolute disgust as she held her belly. "You made me sleep in the unheated servant quarters during my first trimester. You confiscated my phone so I couldn't call Ethan while he was on business trips. And today... you kicked my stomach because I didn't dry your feet fast enough."

Ethan turned his gaze back to his mother, his expression colder than stone.

"You didn't just insult my wife, Mother," Ethan said softly. "You put the life of the heir to both the Sterling and Vance legacies in danger."

"Ethan, please!" Victoria dropped her pride, reaching out to grab her son's arm. "I'm your mother! You can't ruin our family over this!"

"You ruined it yourself," Ethan replied, pulling his arm away from her touch. "As of this moment, Clara’s trust is calling in the full twenty-million-dollar loan from Sterling Corporation. Effective immediately, the bank will seize this mansion, your luxury vehicles, and all personal accounts registered under your name."

"You're kicking me out?" Victoria shrieked, tears finally spilling over her heavy makeup. "Where am I supposed to go?!"

"I don't care," Ethan said, turning his back on her completely. "Security will escort you off the property in ten minutes."

He wrapped his coat around Clara's shoulders, lifting her gently into his arms as she leaned her head against his chest.

As Ethan carried Clara toward the front entrance, the heavy oak doors opened. Standing outside under the rain was a tall man in a dark trench coat, holding a sleek silver tablet.

"Mr. Sterling," the man said respectfully, bowing his head toward Ethan and Clara. "The emergency medical team is waiting in the mobile ICU outside. But we have a critical situation at the harbor."

Ethan stopped in his tracks, his brow furrowing. "What happened?"

"A rogue container ship registered under your mother's maiden name just docked at Port 4," the man reported in a tense whisper. "And according to coast guard intercepts... they are carrying the original, physical deeds to Clara's family trust."

Clara’s eyes widened in horror, her grip tightening on Ethan’s collar. "The deeds... my uncle took those before he disappeared three years ago! If someone else has them..."

Ethan looked back at his mother, who was now standing near the fountain, a dark, sinister smile slowly spreading across her face despite her tears.
