PART 4 – The Grandmother Who Never Stopped Looking

PART 4 – The Grandmother Who Never Stopped Looking

Her name was Margaret Carter.

For six years...

She had searched for her daughter.

Olivia had left home after marrying a man Margaret never approved of.

When the marriage became abusive...

Olivia disappeared to protect her children.

Margaret searched every state she could afford.

She hired private investigators.

Posted missing-person notices.

Prayed every night.

Nothing.

Until now.

The television showed Jacob hugging his little sister exactly the way Olivia used to protect her younger cousins.

Margaret drove through the night.

DNA testing confirmed the truth.

Jacob and Emma were her grandchildren.

When she first met them...

Jacob immediately stepped in front of Emma.

Protecting her.

Margaret knelt slowly.

"You don't have to protect her all by yourself anymore."

Jacob looked down.

Then whispered,

"But Mommy said..."

"I'm the man of the house."

Margaret gently held both children.

"No, sweetheart."

"You're just a little boy."

May you like

"And it's finally your turn..."

"...to let someone take care of you."
